Invictus Games

The word Invictus means "unconquered" — a powerful expression of strength, resilience, and determination of military personnel who are injured, ill, or dealing with a disease. The Invictus Games celebrate what these determined individuals can achieve beyond injury, relying on the power of sport to inspire recovery, support rehabilitation, and foster greater understanding and respect for those who serve.

These principles closely align with the mission of the Canadian Armed Forces' (CAF) Soldier On program. In collaboration with certain sponsors, partners, and allies, Soldier On leads and oversees Team Canada's participation in the Invictus Games, including the selection of competitors, their preparation, and ongoing support. Soldier On is proud to support Team Canada participants on their recovery journey and to enable them to represent Canada on the international stage.
